You can move up to a bigger plan yourself whenever you like. The change takes effect as soon as the upgrade is paid, and the billing is prorated, which means you are charged only for the difference over the time left in your billing period.
- Sign in and go to Services, then My Services.
- Click your hosting plan.
- Choose Upgrade/Downgrade, pick the new plan and follow the steps to confirm.
If you do not see an Upgrade/Downgrade option, open a ticket and tell us which plan you want.
Moving to a smaller plan
To move down a plan, open a ticket and tell us which plan you want. We guide the downgrade so no data is lost: before anything changes, we check that your sites, mailboxes and databases fit inside the smaller plan, and we tell you if something has to move first. Starter, for example, holds one site and 5 GB.
What changes and what does not
Only the limits change: storage, transfer, and the number of sites, mailboxes and databases. Your site, your email and your cPanel account stay where they are. Nothing has to be moved.
Every plan runs on the same setup: the LiteSpeed web server with its built-in page caching (LSCache), CloudLinux isolation that gives each account its own share of the server, free SSL and off-site backups. A bigger plan gives you more room, not a different service.
Not sure which plan fits
Tell us what the site does and roughly how much traffic it sees. We will say which plan fits, including when the answer is the cheapest one.
