When is my invoice due, and what happens if I pay late? Print

  • 0

Your invoice is created 14 days before it is due, and a service that is still unpaid 5 days after the due date is suspended automatically. A late fee of 10% of the invoice is added on the same day.

  • 14 days before the due date. The invoice is created and emailed to you.
  • 7 days before. A reminder is emailed if the invoice is still unpaid.
  • The due date. Payment is due.
  • 1 day after. An overdue notice is emailed.
  • 5 days after. A late fee of 10% of the invoice is added, and the service is suspended.

What suspended means

The hosting account is switched off. The website stops loading for visitors, and the mailboxes on that account stop working.

To get it back, pay the overdue invoice from My Invoices. If your site is still off after you have paid, open a ticket.

If you know you will be late

Tell us before the due date. Open a ticket and say when you expect to pay. It is easier to sort out before a suspension than after one.

If you pay by mail, allow enough time for the payment to arrive and be recorded before the due date. See How do I pay an invoice?
