You gather it yourself, because TPT has no single button that downloads your whole store. Set aside an afternoon. It is worth doing whichever membership you choose.
- Make one folder for each product, named the way it is named on TPT.
- Collect the files buyers download, and the editable originals behind them.
- Save the pictures: covers, thumbnails and previews.
- Copy your listing text into a spreadsheet, one row per product: title, description, price, grade levels and subjects.
- Download your sales reports for each year you have been selling, and save your tax and payout records.
- Keep the whole folder in two places, such as your computer and cloud storage.
What you cannot take
Reviews, followers and the buyer list stay with TPT. The only customer list you can own is an email list you build yourself.
Why the spreadsheet matters twice
That spreadsheet is more than a record. It is what a store of your own needs in order to load your products. Without it, every listing has to be rebuilt from memory.
The full ten-step version is in How to save everything from your TPT store. For why it matters, see What happens to my business if TPT closes my store?
