Add it in cPanel under Domains. How many you can add depends on your plan.
- Starter. 1 site, 3 subdomains, 3 parked domains.
- Business. 4 sites (your main site and 3 add-on domains), 10 subdomains, 5 parked domains.
- Professional. 11 sites (your main site and 10 add-on domains), 20 subdomains, 10 parked domains.
An add-on domain is a second, separate website. A subdomain is an address in front of your domain, such as shop.yourdomain.com. A parked domain, which cPanel calls an alias, is an extra name that shows the same site.
- Log in to cPanel.
- In the Domains section, open Domains.
- Choose Create A New Domain.
- Type the domain, or the full subdomain such as shop.yourdomain.com.
- For a separate website, untick Share document root so it gets its own folder. Leave it ticked for a parked domain that should show your main site.
- Choose Submit.
A new domain also has to be pointed at your hosting account before it will load. See How do I point my domain at my hosting account?
If cPanel says you have reached your limit, see How do I move to a bigger or smaller plan?
