Use webmail, which is your mailbox opened in a browser with nothing to install. There are two ways in.
From cPanel
- Log in to cPanel.
- In the Email section, open Email Accounts.
- Next to the mailbox, choose Check Email.
The mailbox opens without asking for its password.
Directly, without the client area
Once your domain points at your hosting account, go to yourdomain.com/webmail and sign in with the full email address and that mailbox's password. This is how a staff member can read their own mail without having your client area login.
Webmail and your mail app show the same mailbox when the app is set up with IMAP. A message you delete in one is deleted in the other.
Webmail is also a quick way to tell where a problem is. If a message shows up in webmail and not on your phone, the phone's settings are the place to look. See How do I set up my email on a phone or computer?
If webmail will not open at all, open a ticket.
